Welcome to the LASA Robotics Website!  This is the website of the Liberal Arts and Science Academy of Austin, Texas Robotics Team. 

Our Mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-guided, student-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

We compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge (as FTC4290 and FTC5998) and the FIRST Robotics Competition (as FRC418) robotics competitions.

FTC 4290 April 22nd-25th  - World Championship at Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri

FRC 418 April 22nd-25th - World Championship at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri

  • Friday Night Robots
    LASA Robotics is hosting FREE Friday Night Robots with a game of “Cascade Effect” on April 17th at the ATXSTEM Park in Highland Mall from 5-9PM.  Bring your robot for scrimmage play and show off your team with shirts, buttons and other FIRST appropriate paraphernalia.  Meet old friends and make new ones, strengthen our community and play robots.  Food and non-alcoholic drinks are provided. Please RSVP below.
