Welcome to the LASA Robotics Website!  This is the website of the Liberal Arts and Science Academy of Austin, Texas Robotics Team. 

Our Mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-guided, student-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

We compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge (as FTC4290 and FTC5998) and the FIRST Robotics Competition (as FRC418) robotics competitions.

  • Congratulations to FTC 5998 for qualifying to advance to the FTC Regional competition in San Antonio
    FTC 5998 was an undefeated 1st seed at the Connally Double Qualifier, in addition to 3rd place Control and 1st place in Motivate.

    In addition, FTC 4290 was also a first place alliance captain, receiving 3rd place in Control and 1st for Inspire.
