LASA Robotics presents Science Math and Robotics Technology (SMART) Camp a day of fun and learning led by experienced members of the award-winning LASA Robotics Team Thanks for a great summer of SMART Camps! Beginner session will provide an introduction to building robots with LEGO® Mindstorm NXT robotics kits. Beginning Campers will learn how to use gears and motors, apply programming logic and understand sensors and how to apply them. A primary task will be to build a tank or rover bot and load basic to more advanced programs accomplishing simple to more complex tasks as appropriate to campers' skill level. Advanced Camp is for those who have already taken the beginner camp or who have experience with building and programming LEGO Mindstorm robotics kits. Campers will accomplish more advanced tasks and challenges. Both camps are geared toward third through eighth graders.
